Tagalog, or Filipino, is the national language of the Philippines, and is the most used language in Manila, the capital. It has a lot in common with Malay. There are 24 million speakers in at least 10 territories. As well as the Philippines, there are large populations in the United States, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Australia and the United Arab Emirates.

Territory size shows the proportion of all people who speak Tagalog as a first language that live in that territory.
